2020 Dog Licenses are available at the Town Office. Licensing deadline is January 31, 2020. A late fee of $25.00 per dog starts Feb 1, 2020. All dogs older than 6 months must be licensed. Must have proof of current rabies shot.  If you are not sure if your dog needs one this year call the Town Office at 722-3439 and Brenda can check your card. Please call if you no longer have previously licensed dogs so that they can be removed from the file.

January Rabies Clinics for dogs and cats:
January 8 at the Troy Town Office from 5-7PM. $10.00
January 14 at the Dixmont Town Office from 6-7PM. $8.00
January 18 at the Victoria Grant Civic Center, 40 Park Drive, Winterport from 9-11AM.
                  Free for Waldo County residents, all others $9.00

Unity Area Recycling is no longer taking GLASS or any plastic except Number 2. Glass must be bagged and put in the dumpsters.

The Jackson Library has openings for board members. Meetings are held monthly, on the second Monday of each month at 6pm. Those interested may contact Hazel Littlefield at 722-3653.
